But where are all the colored layers?
@donnadees1971 when you look inside the vessel you see some. Others are just layers between
Having trouble wondering what artist is after. 😊
What is the size of the resist, how much larger should it be compared to the size of a hat that I have?
Start with planning on about 30% shrinking
Why the driving band falling out from motor when i spin Can this solve that problem?
Beautiful techniques! Thankyou for demonstrating and the tutorial!
You are welcome
OMG! I did the same flippin thing just now! Took it all apart, put it back together correctly and came back at to watch your next step at 4:32 and LOL....Now am not so alone.....Thank you for this video! 😁
Why it’s becoming two hats after washing?
What are the ratios available with the accelerator on the abe?
I do not know that information
Beautiful work 🙏💕
Thank you
I love your work but this is spectacular! Living in an apartment there's no room for this kind of art - but as the front, or both sides, of a cushion this would work in any home, everybody has space for a beautiful "no touch look only" cushion ❤
It isn't felt until it's touched
I have made seat cushions before. As in felt that replaced the fabric of chairs. It works great if well felted
I am always looking for inspiration and these type of videos are simply perfect for me. I can just let my eyes feast on the becoming of your beautiful vessel. Thank you very much!
Your very welcome
brilliant! can't wait to try it! thank you so much :)
ah yes the forbidden donut.. haha, all jokes aside this is lovely~ ive been trying to reserch this resist tequnique so i can use it for scales on a big dragon... not enogh lovely videos like this one, thank you!
what is the wooden rubbing tool you use? can it be purchased through your store? Thanks!
It is the palm washboard. We stock it in our shop.
Thank you! Love your work!!
Hello. Fabulous videos! Thank you. Question: Where do I find the heavy duty bubble material?
Its solar pool cover. Ask at a pool installer if you can rescue some cut-off pieces from the dumpster
This was just great! You really are great at teaching! Inspiring!
What is the material you used that you said is similar to silk hankie?
Silk laps
Excelente clase, gracias profesor
You have provided me with great tips for felting my flowers. THANKS!!
Beautifully done tutorial!! The hat is lovely, and every step is so thoroughly and thoughtfully whell explained!!!
where did you buy your base that you're working on? (bubbles)
Its solar pool cover. I recomend going to a pool installer and ask for cut off sections. It will last for years
Thank you so much for making this! I was looking for a tutorial or a video of someone making it for a Snufkin cosplay and this one is perfect
Oh my word, this is a perfect video for me. I planning to felt my own witch hat this year and this just popped up. So clear and complete, I feel a lot more confident about doing it now. Thank you!
This was super helpful. Thank you so much!
I just got gifted a felting kit at xmas and got inspired by your video! Beautiful hats! They let you guide them into creation :) Thank you !!!
another nice video
In the later stages it looks like some strange leather. And like an octopus
Super! Thank you, Master!
Great idea! Looks so much easier to shaper. Where can I get the cylinder? Suggestions?
We stock them in our shop. They are odd for shipping
Thank you so much. I am new to felting, and really wanted to make a fun hat to treat or trick with my grandkids!
You better get cracking
It came out great. Thank you. Wasn't sure how to make the brim stiff, I tried diluted Modge Podge. It worked but would you use this on a hat that you would wear regularly? @@SpryWhimsy
@KarenBorga i have we never done that. But whoes to say whats right and wrong.
Amazing, but him waste toooo mucho water.
I could see that as a problem in the west. But here in WI water is plentiful. And required for felting.
I can't get the wheel to loosen when I loosen all 3. How far is it too far to loosen the bolt?
This is fantastic thank you
Hi from New Zealand thankyou for your easy to follow tutorial love the way you explain your process wishing you all the best
Hope you have a fun hat
Made a hat thanks to this tutorial. Thank you! I wish I could share pictures here. You were tremendous help to me. I watched this video multiple times.
It is a bummer i can't see the results from those who watch my videos.
I fell in love with your flowers at the shop. Can't wait to try this! Thank you!
Can you give the measure if the resist
This was one year ago, do you have another channel I can follow ? :)
Well our shops youtube has been a bit quiet. For a while. You have to check us out on instagram and facebook. Those are more current. Thats why most of the channels content is timeless information. I struggle to get Ingrid to block out time to get in front of the camera. Meanwhile im creating content over at @sconnywandering on youtube
@@SpryWhimsy thank you 😀
Great video...thank you!
J'adore🤩🤩🤩
Very good work, and so clear teaching.congratulations and I thank you so much
I really like
your work is gorgeous
Thank you
I didn't see you put soap into this. when did you do that?
The soap is in the water. A mixture of water with a squirt of palmolive
Ok that is just really beautiful. I had gotten away from inserting resists to cut away for design but you have inspired me to get back at it! Thanks!
So glad
wow
What kind of fabric are you laying on top ? So no need for pool noodle or olive soap?
The oil part had me confused. I searched the entire room I was assembling the kiwi 3 in because I thought I had lost it. Very frustrating, lol. Thank you for your video.
Thanks for posting this video! I’ve had my Mach 2 since 2011 and still love it.
Hello! I purchased my Mach II from a friend a couple of years ago, and while I have have spun on it, I have a heck of a time with tension and questions on plying. Do you use a lazy kate, or do you use the two bobbin holders on the top/side?
I have 32 oz. bobbins and use rectangular baskets that fit my bobbins laying horizontal, suspended with thin metal knitting needles, this is what I use to ply from, typically I use 2 baskets on either side of me to ply a 2 ply yarn. I have never used the post arms on the side of the wheel as they would not work for a large bobbin. Some folks use cardboard boxes and a dowel. As for tension, ugh, it can be an issue when the bobbin starts to fill. I remade my tension block with a larger piece of homemade felt, and it’s working good right now. For bulky art yarn spins, like I do, a Scotch tension wheel can be frustrating in the uptake department.
